Did you have fun at Smacktoberfest or Smackfest? Well strap yourself in, cause this event is sure to be even more fun!

An event on the sand, in the South Bay, that combines a Smackfest like volleyball tournament with games, live bands, DJ's, food, and lots of booze ... on the sand !!

That's right, you can freely sample delicious beverages from over 20 different beer, wine and liquor vendors – and not worry about getting a ticket!

Your registration allows you unlimited sampling for FREE from all the vendors. Anyone over 21 can choose the GA tix and join in the fun – no volleyball necessary.

Assuming you signup for a volleyball team, you’ll play pool play just like Smackfest. Fun division is for intermediate level players, while Pro is for more advanced teams ($2000 in cash/prizes). And of course, we’ll have some Smackfest like rules! Costumes encouraged!

Doors open at 11:30 for VB teams, and 12 for everyone else. Volleyball starts at 12:15.  All over 21 y.o. are welcome.

EARLY BIRD General Admission is $40 and allows you to sample from all the craft beers, wines and spirits (price goes up 3/23). VB Team is $200.

Presented by Michelob Ultra and Smack Sportswear, Smackfest has become the most popular volleyball tournament on the West Coast, and the event of the year for most South Bay residents. Sun, sand, sexy people, and volleyball come together on the sands of Hermosa Pier next July. The ultimate So Cal lifestyle event.  Coed 4's with 2 levels - Fun and Pro. The Pro division will be played for $5,000 in cash and prizes - PROVIDED BY MICH ULTRA AND SMACK SPORTSWEAR.  All day specials on Mich Ultra, MU Seltzer, Tito's Vodka, Surfside Vodka Seltzer, Celaya Tequila, and 20% off food at Sharkeez, Panelas, and Tower 12 too!

- Check in Sat. 6/27 from 8-8:30am
- Pre-check in party on Thurs 6/26 at Sharkeez - miss the line Sat morning
- $200 for Fun or $250 Pro Division team of 4.  Every additional player is $25. No max # teammates.

WED.  - 7:30PM - GOODIE BAG PACKING PARTY ON SHARKEEZ ROOFTOP - All are welcome to come and help us pack Smackfest Team Goody Bags - and drink FREE Mich Ultra!!

THURS  - 8PM - SMACKFEST PRE-REGISTRATION PARTY - Sharkeez Rooftop deck, come check in your team so you dont have to wait in line on Sat. morning. And have some drinks/food with us - tons of specials on Mich Ultra, MU Seltzer, Tito's Vodka, Surfside Vodka, Celaya Tequila, and 20% off food - get a wristband upstairs from Bill Sigler.

FRIDAY , 8PM - COURT ASSIGNMENTS - we'll post the court assignments on the Smackfest Facebook page.

SAT.  - 31ST ANNUAL SMACKFEST!! Check-in and/or grab goody bags/ts/hats between 8-9am. (Goody bags will have your wristband). We'll read rules, sing the anthem, then its on !!!  Playoffs will begin by 4pm.  All day drink specials at Sharkeez, Panelas, Tower 12.

Smacktoberfest combines the best of Smackfest ... volleyball, music, sand, sun and fun ... with the best local DJ's ... and a Beer & Wine Festival, where all attendees can freely drink delicious beverages from over 2 dozen different beer, wine and spirit vendors(and not worry about the police giving you a ticket).

- Coed 4's Volleyball Tournament

- Music from DJ's MadRabbit, Spicy, Kuhmook, Cptn Funk

  • Over 20 Beer, Wine, and Spirit vendors

- Game area including dunk tank, and lots more (donations go to P.S. I Love You )

Doors open at 11:30 for volleyball players, and noon for everyone else. Volleyball starts at NOON. Playoffs begin at 3:30pm, finals at 5pm. Doors close at 6. All over 21 y.o. are welcome.

General Admission tickets are $45 BEFORE 9/15, AND $55 AFTER.

VB TEAM FEE IS $210. (note if you registered a volleyball team, that covers 4 people's entry - if you have more than 4 on your team they will need to purchase the GA ticket)

End of Summer VB Class Tourney

Sat. 9/6 - noon to 5pm

 

All those who took the Hermosa Volleyball classes are welcome to participant in this tournament.  Classmates will play with instructors in a Coed 4's format with fun rules which reduce the competitiveness and make it a fantastic afternoon for all.  Coaches like Siggy, Brock, Sean, Zeus etc. will secretively choose teams, we'll then play pool play from 12-3:30.  The top teams will then play in the semis and finals.  We'll then walk over to Sharkeez for the Champion's trophy presentation and of course, Mich Ultra, Mich Ultra Seltzer, R6 Whiskey, Jager, Grey Goose, and food specials ... oh and surely flip cup. Cost is $15/person which most of will be spent at Sharkeez after. We'll have tons of prizes, drinks and snacks on the beach, and lots more.  SIGNUP ASAP AS WE ARE LIMITED TO THE FIRST 48 STUDENTS.
