VBALL CLASS STARTS 9/2
Last Thur night class of 2021! Sat. Class starts 10/9THURS CLASSES ARE ALMOST SOLD OUT SO ACT ASAP!The best volleyball classes in the South Bay start up again on Thurs. 9/2. This is the last Thurs session of the year. 6 weeks of Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels, starting at 6pm-sunset. South of the Hermosa Pier. Cost is $90-100 per session. Learn the basics for beginners, or for more advanced players focus on improvement in hitting, hand setting, side out strategies, and defense. We’ll also do some speed, jump and cardio training. (Saturday classes start 10/9 from 9:30-11:30.)
You’ll meet great people and get a good workout. After class everyone goes to Sharkeez for drinks and food specials, as well as massive flip cup challenge. Cya on the beach!!

END OF SUMMER CLASS TOURNAMENT
Sat. 9/11 from Noon-5pm at the HB PierThis tournament is for everyone who has taken our Volleyball class in 2021. It’s a chance to put your skills to use. We will put together teams with a coach, as well as students at all levels – advanced, intermediate, and beginner – So they are as fair as possible. Everyone will play at least three games with the top teams making it to playoffs. Post tournament party will be at Sharkeez starting at 5 PM with all our normal drink specials including lots of Mich ultra pitchers flowing, and of course flip cup.MAX OF 50 PLAYERS – ONLY 15 SPOTS LEFT SO SIGNUP ASAP

KICKFEST
Sat. 9/18 from 10am – 5pm at the HB PierThe first Sand Kickball Tournament in the South BayWe are very excited to announce “Kickfest”, the first ever Coed Beach Kickball tournament in the South Bay. Teams from leagues up and down the LA coast will descend upon the Hermosa sand for this one of a kind event, which will also feature DJs/ music and a Champions post party at Sharkeez staring at 5 with drink and food specials. Teams will consist of a max of 6 guys, and 4 girls. Standard WKA rules apply with a few twists to keep it fun. There is a limit and we expect this to sell out so enter your team ASAP. (Individuals can post on this event page and either be picked up by a team or we’ll get you on a team). We’ll have pizza, drinks, prizes, music and lots more.

Imagine … an event on the sand, in the South Bay, that combines Smackfest … volleyball, music, sand, sun and fun … with the Beach Cities Beer and Wine Festival, where you can freely drink delicious beverages from 2 dozen different beer, wine and liquor vendors – and not worry about getting a ticket. WELL YOUR DREAMS HAVE COME TRUE !!

Smackfest Events will be hosting this one of kind event on Sat. 10/9 at Seaside Lagoon in Redondo. Your ticket allows you to sample for FREE from all the drink vendors (food extra). Anyone over 21 can choose the GA tix and join in the fun – no volleyball necessary.
Assuming you signup for a volleyball team, you’ll play pool play just like Smackfest. Fun division is for intermediate level players, while Competitive is for more advanced teams. And of course, we’ll have some Smackfest like rules! Costumes encouraged!
Doors open at 11 for all. Volleyball starts at 11:30. Playoffs begin at 3pm, finals at 4:30pm. Doors close at 5:30. All over 21 y.o. are welcome.
Coed 4’s team is $200. Early Bird GA tix (non vball) is $40 thru 9/15, $50 after 9/15.
