Event Rundown – parties, rules, sponsor tents, etc.

The 28th Annual Smackfest is finally here!! Smackfest has become the ultimate So Cal lifestyle event. Sand, Sun, Music, Parties, and most of all YOU! I’m grateful you chose to play, and look forward to seeing everyone this Sat. I started this event back in 1995 to launch my clothing brand, Smack Sportswear. Then we had about 50 people play at 15th St in Manhattan Beach – this year we’ll have 1000 people playing … and the event sold out in 4 minutes!!!  A new record!

So lets get to some of the details.
First, BE SMART.  You know what I mean. Respect Hermosa laws.
Second, the beach is our home – keep it clean, pickup trash when you leave.
And lastly, dont be late for your games & quick warmups – playoffs start at 3:30 sharp.

EARLY CHECK-IN IS THURSDAY NIGHT AT SHARKEEZ ROOFTOP, 8-10PM
ALL ARE WELCOME TO COME, BUT ONLY THE PERSON WHO SIGNED UP YOUR TEAM SHOULD CHECK IN.  WE WILL GIVE YOU SMACKFEST TS, SO ALL YOU HAVE TO DO SAT. IS GRAB YOUR TEAM BAG

SATURDAY CHECK IN – TEAM BAGS/T’S WILL BE AT 10TH /THE STRAND STARTING AT 8AM, AND ENDING AT 8:55.  NATIONAL ANTHEM AT 9, GAMES START AT 9:10

POOLS –  WILL BE POSTED ON THE SMACKFEST FACEBOOK PAGE, AND EMAILED TO YOU FRIDAY AM.  (Reminder we make the pools based on when you registered)

RULES – they are noted on your pool sheets – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. And we’ll have a few twists noted on your pool sheets.
